Beyonce Talks About Her Vegan Diet

One of my favorite female artists has officially announced her vegan diet on Good Day America this week! Although she is promoting veganism for health reasons, I believe it is a good step towards introducing her millions of fans to a life that reduces animal suffering. Ten years ago I became vegetarian specifically to enhance my speed and strength in running, and now I dedicate my life to animal rights. Even though it started out as a health diet change for me, it evolved into something so much more. We can hope the same for Beyonce, and for now, support her promotion of the vegan diet to the masses!

  1. I think they way many vegans act towards those who change to a vegan diet for health reasons really hurts your cause and turns people off.

    I have been told by extremest vegans and those who do it for ethical reason that I am not allowed to call myself a vegan unless I do it solely for animal rights reasons and dop the things ethical vegans do (not support circuses, zoos and that list of things and must call myself a strict vegetarian instead a term that nobody knows what that means is ridiculous.

    I see hints of that in this article even though she did it or health reasons as if that is not as good as doing it for other reasons.

    The same number of animals are saved and in the case of someone overweight like me even way more animals lives are saved as I eat so much moe than average so the impact is 2 or 3 times as strong.

    . I also feel that when ethical vegans act like those who cut down on animals or are vegetarians are not as pure and good enough as they are saving animals even though maybe not as many as you are when doing it for your health is an excellent reason and one that reaches out to those who are not going to do it just cause they like animals. doing it for your health when you are sick gives one a lot more motivation to stick with it and is a wonderful reason that should not be treated as if it is not as superior in these elitist vegans eyes. Many who do it for health eventually do cmoe to join the animals rights cause and are happy they are also helping that cause even if only by their choices and those they influence.

    The elitist attitude of many vegans I have seen online really hurts their cause and frames them in ways that make people go more the opposite way than towards them.

    I saw hinds of this in the article by the way some of it was worded

  2. I would rather follow the scientific approach of nutritionists,
    and eat a little bit more proteins;
    all of legumes, of course.
