Vegan Outreach Reaches 20,000,000 Booklet Milestone

(Web page announcement  |  PDF announcement  |  Please forward and share – thanks!)

Vegan Outreach is proud to announce we have now sent out our 20 millionth advocacy booklet!

From our initial 13,182 hand-folded and hand-stapled booklets in 1994, to 2012’s 2,786,582 copies of Compassionate Choices, Even If You Like Meat, and Why Vegan?, Vegan Outreach booklets have been used by activists around the world to expose the hidden brutality inflicted on farmed animals, while making an honest and thorough case for sustainable ethical eating.

And with distribution of 902,467 booklets during the first three months of 2013, activists are on pace to reach more than 3,000,000 people with Vegan Outreach booklets in a single year!

Nearly every single day in the United States (please see pictures below), Vegan Outreach booklets play a central role in the vast majority of grassroots efforts for the animals. From college and high school leafleting to leafleting and tabling at festivals and concerts; from presentations at schools to display racks at restaurants and bookstores; from 15,000 rockers handed a booklet at a single Warped Tour concert to one person offering their single copy to a friend; from individuals and local groups to The Humane League, Compassion Over Killing, Mercy For Animals, FARM, Farm Sanctuary, and many, many others; from second graders in the cafeteria to senior citizens on the streets – Vegan Outreach booklets are used by groups and thousands and thousands of dedicated advocates worldwide to make the animals’ case in nearly every situation imaginable.

All of us at Vegan Outreach would like to thank the amazing and thoughtful donors and distributors who have made this first 20,000,000 possible. Together, we will reach the next 20,000,000 much more quickly, and continue to change lives every day, bringing about the new world we all desire – a world where animals aren’t brutalized and butchered to be eaten.
