					<description><![CDATA[Huh? Worthington Foods and other companies that make vegetarian foods have been around for decades. Most of these companies were founded and owned by Seventh Day Adventists, who encourage vegan diets. I used to order a faux dried ground beef mix that you added water and formed into patties, loafs, or used in tacos, spaghetti, lasagna, etc.  This was well before the 1980s since one of my good friends in high school was a Seventh Day Adventist and I enjoyed eating with her and her family and their friends. I still have a Seventh Day Adventist cookbook from her church, and it mentions such things as faux scallops and other products made for the Seventh Day Adventist Market.]]></description>
